Alaskan Malamute Food

Dog lovers are often interested in getting popular breeds of dogs as pets but sometimes they don’t understand the proper feeding requirements and end up miss feeding the dog or puppy. Whenever a dog is bought from another persons care it is important that the new owner of the pet know what times, amount, and how frequent the old owner was feeding the dog or the puppy. If you feed you dog too little it could make the puppy weak and overfeeding could cause severe digestive problems and sometimes even make your dog or puppy become overweight.

It is important to feed malamutes puppies three times a day and may even be fed freely. Many dogs mature by at least 12 months but your malamute is not fully matured at till at least 18-24 months of age. Malamute dogs have the habit of eating whatever is fed to them and they love lots of food. But as said before, over feeding your dogs may lead to obesity of your dog. It is important that you don’t feed your active malamute puppy any spicy food! It could give the dog digestion problems caused by the spices and seasonings.
